Using Donut.cx’s template editor, you can create your own customized templates for broadcasts. Each Template has to be approved by Facebook before it can be used for broadcasts.
To create and submit templates for approval, follow these quick steps
Click on the icon to access the Broadcast menu.
Go to “Template” → “Create Template”
A pop-up window will appear. Select “Broadcast”, then hit "Begin creating".
Enter a Template name, and select the desired category and language. Add additional notes if needed. Click Next.
Enter the details you want to share with your customer in the message body. Use the preview pane to see what your message will look like.
You can also beautify your message by using these optional features
Header: Enter a title or attach a media file (maximum size - 5MB)
Footer
Buttons: Add up to 3 suggested replies or links for your customers to use
Variables
Furthermore, you can also add variables that can personalize your message for each customer. Variables also increase the reusability of your template. To add a variable, click on “Add Variable” located below the message body.
To create a custom variable, click on “+ Add New” Enter a unique label and sample text for reference. Click confirm to add the selected variable.
Finally, verify all the details entered once again on the confirmation page. Click on “Submit For Approval” to submit the created template for Facebook approval.
A pop-up will appear to confirm that the message has been successfully submitted for approval. The approval process will take a maximum of 2 days.
You can check the status of your template in the Templates Dashboard. If your template is approved, it will appear in the Approved templates section.
Now your templates are ready to be used for broadcasts!
